Stopped in for lunch on 22 Jan. I had the chicken gizzards, okra and fries. The gizzards were perfectly breaded and tasted great! Can’t wait to go back and try the meatloaf next.

Fantastic Texas eatery. We were seated after a short wait. Staff is friendly. Lots of menu options. We ordered cheese curds for an appetizer. House made ranch sauce was fantastic. My wife and I each got cheese burgers, she opted for waffle fries and i got tater tots. Burgers were very good with homemade patties and toasted buns. We both enjoyed our sides and couldn't finish them. Lemonade was on point as well. Chicken fried steaks looked good. Place was very busy but people didn't wait long and were served quickly. Will stop again if in the area.

Upon entering had our name added to the next available table list. Was told about 20 minutes, but seated in 10. Shared a table with others, no big deal. Staff hustled the entire time we were there. Had the 10oz ribeye, one medium rare, one medium well. Both were closer to medium rare. Plates came with 2 sides, each ordered a salad and potato, both plates also had fresh warm rolls. Added cheese curds which were very good.

Absolutely perfect representative Texas restaurant, excellent delicious food, largest draft beer, largest tastiest chicken-fried steak. Like a time machine to a different better time. Highest rating. Worth the drive from wherever you are, bring out-of-towners here for authentic Texas experience. Hardest working and sweetest waitresses.

David and I stopped by there for dinner tonight and we were not disappointed. This was our first time there and we will definitely be back. Jennifer and the whole staff were exceptional. The food was outstanding. If it was closer to us, we would be eating there daily. Keep up the great work it shows.

They were very busy, but super nice and the food was great. Everything tasted homemade and prices very reasonable. Get the cream gravy y'all! A little mix up with the order but ended up being just fine. Will stop again anytime we come through Temple.

Excellent food in a country style kind of atmosphere. Very busy at 3pm on a Friday afternoon, but we didn't have to wait for a table. Temple unfortunately isn't too close to us, but we will go back when we are nearby again. P.S. Chet Garner really liked it too!
